Karma Canvas recycled Indian Kadai Fire Bowls are made traditionally by hand in Rajasthan, India, using techniques handed down to modern artisans by the master Kadai craftsmen of old.

Recycled steel plates are skillfully riveted together and shaped to create these stunning pieces, a focal point and social nexus of any outdoor space.

Endlessly practical, these Kadai can be used as a fire pit or as a superb BBQ, giving that wood-fired authenticity to every dish. Paired with one of our cooking tripods, you can serve up amazingly authentic curries and wet braised dishes to delight and impress your friends and family.

These bowls also make excellent hung or ground planters and look incredible with your favorite greenery growing inside them, or filled with water as a small pond or water garden.

Each Kadai comes complete with a 30cm high cooking stand and grill. 60cm stands are available for easier cooking. Simply tick the box above.

Our Kadai do require some maintenance in the form of oiling. You can use any oil you like, from vegetable to mineral oils. We recommend the former – the flavour of your cooked food will simply get better and better with use!

Please note : Surface corrosion is to be expected and actually enhances the rustic aesthetic of your bowl. We also recommend using a layer of builders sand in the bottom of your bowl to help with drainage and extend its life.
